Prominent Ugandan Journalist Risdel Kasasira Dies In Tragic Accident

The Ugandan media fraternity is mourning the sudden loss of Risdel Kasasira, a celebrated journalist whose dedication to truthful reporting earned him widespread respect. Kasasira tragically lost his life today in a car accident on the Mbarara-Masaka Highway while traveling with his family.

Reports indicate that Kasasira, a native of Lyantonde, was en route to Kampala when the fatal crash occurred. Although his wife and child survived, details regarding their conditions remain limited at this time. Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the accident, with a detailed report expected in the coming days.
