4 Somalia Nationals Arrested With Suspected Bomb At Speke Resort Munyonyo

Police is holding four Somali nationals who were arrested with a suspected bomb.

Police spokesperson CP Fred Enanga told media on Monday that the suspects were trying to access Speke Resort Hotel Munyonyo.

The device was found hidden in their car Toyota Wish Reg No. UBF 158C.

The special hire driver of the vehicle was arested.

Police identified him as Abudul Karim Moyo, a Somali national.

Moyo told police that he was hired by his friend Muhammad Hassan to pick his mother and children from the hotel.

Hassan was also picked up by police together with his associate identified as Azir Yasin Hussein and an unnamed 20-year-old girl.
