The administration of Kampala Parents’ School has revealed that the school is offering free admissions for Primary Seven pupils.
This, according to the school administration, is an initiative by the Ruparelia Foundation, aimed at giving an opportunity to all parents to enrol their children into the school, such that they can attain the best quality education.
We have established that KPS, which has already acquired a COVID-19 Certificate of Verification from the Ministry of Education and Sports, has since resumed conducting classes for all P.7 candidates, such that they can catch up on the study time they lost during the COVID-19 lockdown.
As such, the school administration has already put in place all Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) in a bid to put in practice the Ministry of Health guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The teachers ensure that all students maintain social distance, wear face masks all the time and wash their hands regularly, on top of ensuring that all furniture, door handles, window seals and other spots likely to carry the virus are sanitized.
It should be noted that Kampala Parents’ School is on international level but follows a local curriculum.
It’s situated along Lugogo Bypass and has an enrolment of over 2500 pupils with 118 well trained teachers and over 150 non-teaching staff members. The pupils come from all over the world.
The school has been and will continue to be an academic hub of Uganda because of the balanced curriculum offered.
The school mission is “to facilitate first-class education and civilisation to children with and from outside Uganda with the hope that there will be a better world community tomorrow“.
The school anthem clearly indicates that children, teachers and parents of Kampala Parents’ School glorify the lord and their prayers ascend on high to achieve school goals and aspirations.
