On Wednesday, this website reported that one of the oldest FM stations, Sanyu FM will have entirely new faces following dispute between the old staff and management over salary cuts in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The latest we have confirmed is that one of the Popular and experienced radio presenter Isaac Katende, also known as Kasuku has joined the team at the Crane Chembers media house Sanyu FM.

Thecapitaltimes has learnt that Kasuku will co- host the evening show alongside Tina Fierce, formerly with Urban Television.

We’ve further established that the show will be on from 5pm to 8pm from Monday to Friday.

The two become the latest additions to the oldest FM station in Uganda following recent changes.

Patrick Salvado Idringi already replaced Fat Boy on the morning show as management continues to make sweeping changes meant to take the station back at the top.

Media was on Wednesday awash with the news on the sacking of Sanyu FM employees when they reportedly in unprofessional way “hijacked” the company’s twitter account and asked all lawyers who were ready to take on their boss to come on board.

“We are considering legal actions against Sanyu FM for wrongful and unfair dismissal. Any lawyer who is ready to take on Ruparelia, please get in touch with us,” read one of the tweets on Sanyu FM verified Twitter account.
