Grief MP Alupo Dies Of Suspected Covid-19

Fear has engulfed Parliament of Uganda after one of her members succumbed to a virus on Tuesday which is suspected to be Covid-19.

Hon.Faith Alupo has been a woman MP representing Pallisa According to sources, law maker Alupo was admitted a few weeks ago at Mulago hospital VIP section after developing severe pain, headache and chest complications.

After learning her demise, Parliament went on to confirm her passing on by eulogizing her great contribution in legislation towards the building of her country Uganda .

“Parliament has learnt with sorrow of the untimely death of Hon Faith Alupo, Woman MP for Pallisa District which occurred at Mulago Hospital. May her soul rest in eternal peace,” Parliament tweeted Tuesday afternoon.

The institution however did not reveal her cause of death.

However, reports indicate she died of the virus at Mulago Hospital.

The Ministry of Health is yet to issue an official statement in line with Alupo’s death.

Her district, Paliisa has been advised not to convene any gathering while her burial is to be conducted by a team of experts.
