National Resistance Movement ‘NRM’  is mourning the passing of one of their member, Christopher Ronald Kaweesi.

Kaweesi had just been nominated by the NRM to contest as Local Council III councilor for Banda 4, 5, 6 and 7 to Nakawa Division when he succumbed to Covid-19 last Saturday. As of yesterday, Uganda had recorded 7,530 Covid-19 cases and 73 deaths.  Recoveries stand at 3,647.

Meanwhile, Division councilors have spoken out on Kaweesi’s death.

Winnie Nandudu of Naguru I said Kaweesi served Nakawa diligently. A similar comment was made by Samuel Kisaame of Bukoto II.
