Residents of Bugiri town council were left in shock after jilted husband hacked to death his wife after suspecting her of having love affair with another man.

The suspect has been identified as Kassim Ouma who picked a panga and cut several times his wife following bitter arguments.

James Mubbi Busoga east spokesman says Ouma suspected the diseased of having love affair with another man called Simunyu David 51 years.

He adds that the suspect used panga to cut his wife and died on the way to Mbale hospital.
