Grief As Former NSSF Boss Katembwe’s Dad Can. Kabango Passes On

Canon Eric Kabango, who was the father of Mr. Abel Katembwe, the former National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Managing Director, has sadly breathed his last, at age of 96.

Born in 1924, Mzee Kabango, who was one of the elders in Nyakabungo, Buyanja, Rukungiri District, passed away on Monday December 22nd, 2020, according to family members.

He has been one of the longest-surviving Christians who got saved during the revival of Christianity and educated their kids at top schools in the country then.

Due to the numerous things Can. Kabango did for the people of Rukungiri and Uganda at large, his good heart, cleanliness smartness shall forever remain in the many hearts of many.

Family sources reveal that the deceased will be laid to rest on Thursday December 24th, 2020, at his ancestral home in Kitwe, Ntungamo District, starting 11:00Am.
