The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has dismissed rumours of sacking the Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan Mckinstry.

Yesterday, social media was awash by reports that the governing body had terminated the Northern Irish man’s contract as head coach of the national team.

However, FUFA has distanced itself from speculations and came out to clarify the same.

“Our dear football stakeholders, FUFA has not taken any decision as reported in various media outlets regarding the status of Uganda Cranes Head coach Johnny Mckinstry” FUFA tweeted.
