Uganda’s Covid-19 Death Rise To Over 400 As Cases Hit 55,511

The Uganda health Ministry has confirmed 842 new Covid-19 cases as the Country continues grappling with the virus.

The cases were registered from the tests done on 7th June 2021 bringing the Cumulative confirmed cases to 55,511.

The country also registered 4 deaths bringing the total to 402 since the scourge outbreak in March 2020.

The cases include 494 from Kampala, 117 from Wakiso, 29 from Gulu, Soroti 21, Mbarara 32, Masaka 16, Kakumiro 12, Tororo 10, Kibuku 10, Arua 11, Yumbe 10.

Others are Budaka 8, Masindi 7, Jinja 8, Nwoya 7, Mubende 5, Kayunga 5, Namisindwa 4, Buliisa 3, Katakwi 3, Busia 3, Sembabule 3, Kyotera 3,  Kumi 2, Packwach 2, Rakai 2, Kiryandongo 1, Kiboga 1, Omoro 1, Pader 1, Bugiri 1, Mukono 1, Koboko 1, Amuru 4, Lamwo 1, Mbale 3, Kyotera 2.

The Ministry also registered 11 Truck Drivers with  Mutukula 9, Elegu 1, Kampala 1.
