Reformed Socialite Shanitah Namuyimbwa alias Bad Black has enrolled to study English Language and Digital Marketing at Victoria University while her children have been offered to study at Kampala Parents School on a bursary program for their primary education.

In a press statement released on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, to clarify on her monumental appointment as Victoria University’s brand ambassador, Vice Chancellor Dr. Lawrence Muganga said like any of their students, Bad Black automatically having chosen to enrol for its two short course programmes; English Language and Digital Marketing automatically becomes an ambassador at the most prestigious private institution in Uganda.

“It is important to note that all Victoria University Students and the Alumni Community are our Ambassadors, therefore since Ms. Shanitah Namuyimbwa is our student, she automatically becomes a Victoria University Student Ambassador,” Muganga said while speaking to the media.

“It is also very important that I make this clarification to you all and with emphasis. Victoria University is only here to help Ms. Shanitah Namuyimbwa to improve herself to become a better and productive human being through pursuing impactful English Language and Digital Marketing Short Courses offered by Victoria University,” he added.

Muganga explained Bad Black expressed her passionate desire to pursue these two short courses at Victoria University with a goal of becoming fluent in English and also sharpen her social media influence skills to attract more brands as she embarks on transforming into a better version of herself.

“Ms. Shanitah Namuyimbwa has a goal of becoming a fluent English Speaker and Digital Marketing Guru and that’s how Victoria University comes in to help her like any other Ugandan to realize such an incredible dream and becoming a decent contributing member of society,” said VC Muganga.

The university further said in the statement that they welcome people from all walks of life and that it is in the same vein that they welcomed Bad Black to study.

“Our job is to transform and rehabilitate those that desperately need help to become better people and Ms. Shanitah Namuyimbwa becomes a better example of such people that need urgent help to transform themselves,” Muganga noted further. Adding that; “Victoria University has not paid any money to Ms. Shanitah Namuyimba for this role.”

Commenting on such a lucrative offer, Bad Black expressed utmost gratitude to the Management of Victoria University and the Ruparelia Group for allowing her children to study in such a prestigious school on a bursary basis. She promised to wholeheartedly represent the University as its face in public and social media to attract more students in turn.

“My son Jonah will from now onwards study at Kampala Parents School, which I believe you all know, so that is a gracious opportunity and offer from the University,” said Bad Black.
