Prof Nsibambi to Be Buried On Tuesday

Fallen former Prime minister of Uganda Prof Apollo Nsibambi will be buried on Tuesday next week according to government.

On Friday morning at 10:00am, members of parliament paid last respects to the body of Late Prof.Nsibambi   .

While eulogizing the statesman, the speaker of parliament Rt.Hon.Rebecca Kadaga who chaired the special seating told law makers that Prof.Nsibambi was one the most trusted and  patriotic Ugandans that this country has ever had.’’ My fellow members lets emulate  the core values,democracy and patriotism that Prof.Nsibambi used to stand for’ she said

While speaking to the press, Prime Minister Dr Ruhakana Rugunda who was appointed by President Museveni to head a committee organizing the decent sendoff of the former prime minister announced the burial program.

Premier Dr Rugunda said a church service is to be held at the late’s residence in Bulange for all this time until Monday and on Tuesday a church service will be held at Namirembe Cathedral at 9 am before the final send off at 4pm in Buloba.

Dr Rugunda assured the family members and other mourners that government is to meet all the burial expenses.
