Godfrey Muwumuza, a 43-year-old teacher at Kabojja Junior School, has been remanded to Luzira Prison after allegedly attempting to sexually assault an 11-year-old pupil during a school trip to western Uganda on May 4-5, 2025.
It is reported that Muwumuza allegedly lured the boy under the pretense of needing help with a torch, then forced the child’s hand toward his genitals. Later, on the school bus, he allegedly tried again.
During interrogation, Muwumuza reportedly admitted to the acts but denied the charge in court. Buganda Road n Kayizzi remanded him until May 19, 2025, for a bail hearing.explorer
