Today, I have handed over office with guidance from IGP, to my deputy ACP Hillary Kulaige following expiry of my contract.

I want to thank you so much for you cooperation, advice, mentoring and guidance I have received during the course of my duty to country and people.

I promise to remain disciplined and accountable to each and everything I do while in the community. Will at all cost advance the good image of the police. The institution is bigger than me and will always defend it wherever I am and whatever vocation I hold.

I will be at my home in Entebbe and available to you for whatever issue I may be helpful about.

Police is and will remain a family to me and my family. Will always be proud to associate with it.

Will be glad to rejoin you should my contract get extended.
