Two Prime Suspects Arrested Over Mukono Spice Supermarket Armed Robbery

Police have revealed that they have arrested two suspects in the ongoing operation to hunt down armed suspects who attacked Spice Supermarket in Mukono and stole unspecified amount of money

The incident happened on Friday night last week on 23rd June 2022, when armed thugs who were two in number holding guns robbed spice supermarket in Mukono unspecified amount of money.

The supermarket cashier one Irene Ssekandi was shot and injured in the attack.

Addressing a news conference at Police headquarters Naguru Fred Enanga the police spokesperson revealed that the police flying squad working with Mukono Police arrested two suspects who include Mugalu William and Mbogo Sam all residents of Mukono Nasuuti.

The two are believed to form part of the gang that involved in the robbery at Spice Supermarket.

Enanga noted that they are now working at recovering the two guns which were used in this armed robbery.

He appealed to supermarket and Mobile money attendants to maintain security around their business premises because they seem to be targeted in the new wave of robberies
