Kampala International School Uganda Kicks off admissions for 2022/23 Academic Year

Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) a leading international school in Kampala has opened its doors to students willing to pursue their academic at this great and global standard school for the academic year 2022-23.

According to an announcement released via its socials, KISU said the admissions are open for Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary and interviews for potential pupils are on every day Monday to Friday at the school premises in Bukoto.

The requirements for one to get shortlisted for the interview are; A photocopy of the birth certificate or child immunization certificate of the applicant (for nationals), a photocopy of the valid passport of child (for foreigners / non-Ugandans) and 2 passport photos for the child, plus one for the parent.

KISU as it is commonly known, a subsidiary of the Ruparelia Group’s education arm was established in 1993. The school boasts of an enrollment of over 400 students from over 60 nationalities according to 2020-21 admission statistics.

KISU is a world-class education facility that offers an international education to students between 2 and 19 years of age. The school’s current enrolment is 450, with students from over 50 nationalities. The school is built on a purpose-built 14-acre campus, with an installed capacity of 1,000 students. The KISU curricula combine the structure, rigor and transferability of the English National Curriculum, with the broad, holistic and constructive approach of the International Baccalaureate (IB).

Notably, the school’s academic performance is at the required standard and this is because of the well-trained staff members who are talented in handling and disciplining pupils a key to success as evidenced by the good performance for many consecutive years.

Kampala International school is equipped with a state of the art facilities for all round education including four science labs, three computer labs, three music rooms, three performance areas, an indoor sports hall, outdoor basketball court, 25 metre eight lane competition swimming pool, two libraries, smart boards in most classrooms and a five acre playing field.

KISU students get a chance to participate in an extensive range of extracurricular activities including outdoor education and overseas trips, to diverse destinations such as The UK, France, Italy, Mount Kilimanjaro and an annual ski trip in Europe.
