If you have visited the Ruparelia residence in the recent past, you will realise that part of the compound has been transformed into a  children’s play centre.

When tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia and his family entered the multi million dollar property on Kawalya Kaggwa Close in Kololo seven years ago, it had everything that a mansion fit for Uganda’s richest man should have – infinity pool, wine cellar, fully stocked bar, home office, sauna and steam rooms and even a private restaurant.

But it was a very much adult place and who would blame him. The kids had long grown up and were running the business empire with the group Chairman.

Now things have changed and we can say the mansion is very child friendly. Right now the grand kids are coming in.

This Friday October 21, the Ruparelia family welcomed yet another grand child, daughter to Sheena and Jay Sakaria.

Jolly Grandma with granddaughter

This is the second child of the couple. In April this year, son Rajiv and his wife Naiyah also welcomed a baby girl.

This has surely increased Sudhir’s grand dad duties and it is a duty he surely enjoys as we have seen him dotting on the little ones on his social media posts.
