The day was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, Dr. Isabirye Paul, a public health specialist, and SPC Frank Mwesigwa, the deputy director of counter-terrorism.

The participating houses – Kob, Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Crane, and Elephant – battled it out in a series of thrilling competitions, ranging from the 800-meter race to quirky challenges like “In Daddy’s Shoes” and “Fruit Picking.” The students displayed remarkable sportsmanship, determination, and teamwork throughout the various activities.

In a riveting showcase of talent and dedication, the Kob house emerged victorious with a total of 637 points, closely followed by Lion with 611 points, and Leopard securing third place with 603 points.

Rhino claimed the fourth spot with 597 points, while Crane and Elephant houses secured sixth and seventh places, respectively. The sports arena was brimming with excitement, as parents and pupils alike cheered enthusiastically for their respective houses.

Dr. Isabirye Paul, one of the esteemed guests, praised the school’s commitment to fostering education through sports. “As a parent in the school, we take pride in the role of sports in primary education. It not only nurtures physical health but also instills values like teamwork, discipline, and perseverance,” remarked Dr. Isabirye.

SPC Frank Mwesigwa, the deputy director of counter-terrorism, expressed his delight at being part of the event, emphasizing its significance in connecting with the community and promoting various services. “This prestigious exhibition of talent and sports allows us to engage directly with the public and educate them about a wide array of services,” he said.

Ms. Daphine Kato, the headteacher of Kampala Parents’ School, extended her gratitude to the parents for entrusting the school with their children’s education.

She emphasized the holistic approach of the school’s education system in nurturing talents from a young age.

Ms. Kato also acknowledged the unwavering support of the school’s management, especially Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia and Mr. Rajiv Ruparelia, in prioritizing the interests of pupils, parents, and teachers.
