Disturbing reports indicate that Kabale Municipality Mayor Sentaro Byamugisha was attacked by Kabale District Chairman Nelson Nshangabasheija in a bar fight in Mbarara City about a week ago.

It is alleged that the two leaders who had gone to Mbarara City for a workshop engaged in a heated argument over an unidentified woman, which escalated into a physical altercation.

Mayor Byamugisha sustained facial injuries as a result of the fight.

A CCTV camera video clip reportedly retrieved from the bar shows Chairman Nshangabasheija walking away with the woman in question after the fight.
