Uganda Registers Biggest Single Day Jump As 43 Truck Drivers Test Positive For Covid-19

Ministry Of Health has on 15 May, 2020 confirmed 43 new COVID-19 cases in Uganda from 1,838 samples of truck drivers.

According to the health Ministry, the total number of COVID-19 cases is now 203.

The confirmed cases came through Elegu border post: 15 Ugandans, 9 Kenyans, and 4 Eritreans

Mutukula border post: 5 Tanzanians, 1 Burundian.

Malaba border post: 5 Kenyans, 2 Ugandans, 1 Burundian

1 nationality unknown

All 720 community samples have tested negative for COVID-19.

Total COVID-19 recoveries in Uganda 63

Total samples tested today: 2558
