The body of Christine Kabasweka Akiiki, an accountant of Vision Group who had gone missing was recovered on Saturday.

Workmates of Akiiki say they last saw her on Wednesday and she hadn’t returned to office since.

Multiple calls to her phone went unanswered.

Her death was discovered when a relative went to her house located along Bucunku Road in Lugazi Cell in Kakoba Division, Mbarara Municipality.

The deceased was found lying lifeless.

Police Spokesperson for Rwizi Region Samson Kasasira said they were investigating the cause of her death.
