Sad: Gen.Moses Ali Wife Sarah Passes On At Medipal Hospital

The wife of the second deputy prime minister and head of government business in parliament, retired Gen Moses Ali has died.

According to a family friend,Sarah Ali went to be with the Lord at Medpal Hospital, Kampala, on Monday afternoon.

The Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has confirmed the death in a statement dated January 8, 2024, and condoled with Moses Ali.

“With deep sorrow, I announce the death of Mrs Sarah Ali, wife to Rt. Hon Gen (retired) Moses Ali, the second deputy prime minister and deputy leader of government business in parliament,” the prime minister said in a statement.

The tentative arrangement is that there will be a vigil for the deceased today (Monday) night at Naalya estate, along Paul Kasule road.

The body of the deceased will be transported to Adjumani for burial on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 and will be laid to rest later in the afternoon.

Friends,in-laws and government officials have traveled to support and witness the send off of the deceased.

In Muslims it’s a ritual that when a person dies must be buried immediately but due to distance,Gen.Ali Moses’ family has decided to burial on Tuesday.
