In a groundbreaking milestone for Uganda’s coffee industry, Inspire Africa is proudly showcasing Uganda’s finest coffee at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2025 in Shanghai. This marks a new chapter in positioning Ugandan coffee on the global market, with China emerging as one of the fastest-growing destinations for specialty coffee consumption.

Through this participation, Inspire Africa is not only exhibiting Uganda’s rich coffee heritage but also engaging investors, distributors, and coffee enthusiasts across Asia. The team is conducting market research, sampling sessions, and trade discussions aimed at expanding the footprint of Ugandan coffee within the Chinese market.

“Our presence at CIIE is a testament to Uganda’s potential to supply high-quality, traceable, and sustainably grown coffee to the world,” said Dr Nelson Tugume CEO, Inspire Africa.

“China is a ready and growing market, and this engagement opens doors for greater value addition and improved livelihoods for our farmers back home.”

Uganda’s participation at this global trade platform underscores the country’s commitment to diversifying markets, enhancing coffee exports, and promoting Made-in-Uganda brands. With Inspire Africa leading the charge, Ugandan coffee is steadily earning its place among the world’s most celebrated brews.
