Phaneroo Ministries International has announced plans for its annual Night of Prayer, a grand cross-over gathering expected to draw thousands of worshippers to the Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru as believers usher in the year 2026.

Over the years, the Phaneroo Night of Prayer has evolved into one of the most anticipated Christian events in Uganda and beyond, attracting large numbers of participants from across the country and visitors from East Africa, Southern Africa, Europe, and North America.

The gathering is known for its atmosphere of praise, worship, and spiritual fervour as Christians come together to express gratitude for the year ending and dedicate the new year to God.

Speaking ahead of the event, Apostle Grace Lubega, the Vision Bearer and Lead Preacher of Phaneroo Ministries International, said extensive preparations are underway to accommodate the steadily growing congregation.

“We have prepared adequately for everyone who plans to join us. The Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru have been optimized to create a comfortable and secure environment. There is enough space for both the congregation and parking, but I encourage everyone to come early,” Apostle Lubega said.

The 2025–2026 Night of Prayer is expected to attract tens of thousands of worshippers, with many more following the proceedings via Phaneroo’s online streaming platforms.

Apostle Lubega described the crossover as more than just a celebration of the new year, but a sacred moment of renewal and spiritual alignment.

“It has been our culture for more than a decade to enter every new year in the presence of God. We gather to thank Him for what He has done and to position ourselves for what He is about to do. Each year, God releases a word, a vision, and a grace that defines the season ahead,” he said.

The night will feature extended sessions of worship, thanksgiving, and prayer led by the Phaneroo Choir, alongside performances from some of the country’s leading gospel artists. The climax of the evening will be Apostle Lubega’s prophetic message and prayer declaration for the year 2026—a moment many believers look forward to for inspiration and spiritual direction.

Previous editions of the event have seen thousands give their lives to Christ, underscoring its transformative impact on individuals and communities.

Organisers have also put in place measures to ensure order and safety, with volunteers and ushers stationed across the venue. Transport services from selected pick-up points in Kampala and other parts of the country are being coordinated to ease access for participants.

The Night of Prayer remains one of the key highlights on Uganda’s Christian calendar, marking a moment of unity, thanksgiving, and renewed faith as the world steps into a new year.
