The NRM. National Treasurer, Ambassador Hon. Nekesa Barbra Oundo has confirmed that Busia and Samaia Bugwe are fully prepared to vote presidential flag bearer and President of Uganda, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni 90%.

Nekesa made the statement when M7 was campaign in Budaka districts as part of his ongoing nationwide tour seeking re-election for the 2026-2031 term.

Nekesa delivered the remarks on Thursday at saaza Ground in Budaka District, where President Museveni held a well-attended campaign rally as part of his ongoing nationwide tour seeking re-election for the 2026-2031 term.

Before M7’s speech, Nekesa she emphasized that the NRM leadership at the district sub-county and grassroots levels is fully aligned behind both President Museveni and and the party’s flagbearers, ensuring a coordinated and United front ahead of the decisive polls. According to her, the NRM’S new mobilization strategy being rolled out in Bukedi is already yield impressive results.

“Every leader in Bukedi is working tirelessly to ensure that President attain over 90% support in the 2026 election. We are organised, united, and commited to delivering all NRM flagbearer as well”- she said.

Nekesa added that the smooth progress of the presidential campaign trail in the Sub-region demonstrations the strong support President Museveni continue to enjoy in Bukedi. She highlighted that the refreshed mobilization strategy focuses on grassroots engagement, direct community outreach, and strengthening structures at every levels-approaches she believe will translate will translate into a decisive victory for the NRM.

During the rally, residents turned up in large numbers to listen to President Museveni, who outlined the NRM’s agenda for continued socio-economic transformation, infrastructure development, and enhanced service delivery. As the President’s campaign tour continues to attract widespread attention, Hon.Amb. Nekesa urged NRM supporters to maintain their enthusiasm by turning up in even larger numbers for the upcoming rallies.
