Exciting strides at the Kidepo Valley Conservation Area as the Uganda Wildlife Authority launches a new Rhino Sanctuary with support from the European Union–funded NaturAfrica Kidepo–Turkana Landscape Project.

This milestone sets the stage for the long-awaited return of rhinos to Kidepo.

A newly commissioned Joint Operations Command Centre and deployment of patrol motorcycles further boost security and preparedness for reintroduction.

Together with our partners and host communities, we are rebuilding Uganda’s wildlife heritage, one bold step at a time.
