The event also featured the donation of a new ambulance to the people of Bukedea. The ambulance, donated by Speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among and Kachumbala County MP-elect David Beecham Okwere, is expected to improve emergency response and access to healthcare services in the district.

Foundation for its continued support in healthcare and social development, noting that the eye camp has significantly improved access to specialized medical care for underserved communities.

The Rajiv Ruparelia Memorial Eye Camp continues to grow into one of the region’s most impactful medical outreaches, restoring sight, reducing preventable blindness, and improving the quality of life for thousands of people across Eastern Uganda.
