Kampala’s social scene experienced a new level of luxury and sophistication on Sunday 17th May 2026 as the first edition of Le Brunch de Paris made a grand debut at Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

The premium Parisian-inspired brunch attracted an elegant and distinguished crowd for a day filled with fine dining, endless bottomless champagne, curated wines, cocktails, networking, live entertainment, and unforgettable ambiance.

Organised by Alliance Française Kampala in partnership with Talent Africa Group, TotalEnergies, Sheraton Kampala Hotel, SafeBoda, and Calvet, the event successfully blended French-inspired luxury with Kampala’s vibrant social and entertainment culture.

Starting from 11AM, guests arrived dressed in style and elegance, stepping into a glamorous setting that blended luxury, culture, music, and social connection. What began as a daytime brunch effortlessly evolved into an all-day celebration, with guests lingering late into the night while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, exceptional hospitality, and world-class entertainment.

The inaugural edition brought together diplomats, celebrities, business leaders, creatives, influencers, and Kampala’s premium social crowd in what many described as one of the city’s most refined and refreshing lifestyle experiences. The atmosphere remained lively throughout the day as attendees mingled, connected, celebrated, and enjoyed the carefully curated Parisian-inspired experience.

The event was hosted by celebrated media personality Tracy Ikopit, whose charisma and elegance elevated the experience, while renowned entertainer DJ Andy Skillz delivered an energetic and sophisticated musical atmosphere that kept guests entertained from brunch through the late evening hours. Guests were also treated to an exceptional live performance by The Lyshan Band, whose soulful set added warmth and excitement to the luxurious affair.

Among the distinguished attendees were Navio, H.E. Etsegenet Yimenu of the Ethiopian Embassy, H.E. Doreen Amule, Uganda’s Ambassador to France, H.E. Mirjam Blaak, Ambassador of Uganda to Brussels, H.E. Virginie Leroy, business tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia, media personality Flavia Tumusiime, celebrity couple Brian Mulondo and Manuela Mulondo, lifestyle personality Malaika Tenshi Nnyanzi, celebrated artist GNL Zamba, among several other notable personalities who graced the event.

With its successful debut, Le Brunch de Paris has officially positioned itself as one of Kampala’s newest premium lifestyle experiences, offering a unique blend of luxury hospitality, music, culture, networking, and social elegance.
