CFAO Mobility Uganda has launched the all-new Suzuki ACROSS Hybrid in Uganda, rolling out a promotional package that includes one year of free fuel and comprehensive insurance for customers purchasing Suzuki vehicles.

The announcement was made on Wednesday in Kampala amid growing concerns over rising fuel prices and increasing costs of vehicle ownership.

Under the campaign dubbed, “The Upgrade You Deserve,” the company said customers will also receive two years of free servicing and a three-year manufacturer warranty. The offer will run while stocks last.

CFAO Mobility Uganda said the introduction of the hybrid SUV comes at a time when motorists are increasingly seeking fuel-efficient and low-maintenance vehicles due to global fuel price volatility and economic pressures.

The Suzuki ACROSS Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-litre hybrid engine designed to reduce fuel consumption while maintaining performance, comfort, and practicality for both families and businesses.

Speaking during the launch, Dan Engola, Suzuki Sales Manager at CFAO Mobility Uganda, said buyers are now placing greater emphasis on long-term ownership costs rather than only the initial purchase price.

“The all-new Suzuki ACROSS Hybrid introduces a sophisticated SUV experience that delivers practical, everyday economy,” Engola said.

He noted that consumers are increasingly prioritising fuel efficiency, servicing costs, and maintenance reliability when choosing vehicles.

The company also cautioned motorists about the hidden costs associated with imported used vehicles, saying many come with unpredictable repair expenses and lack warranty coverage, placing additional financial strain on owners.

CFAO, an acronym for Compagnie Française de l’Afrique Occidentale, is a French multinational company with roots dating back to the colonial trading era in West Africa.

Isaac Tegule, Marketing Manager at CFAO Mobility Uganda, said the campaign was intended to make brand-new vehicle ownership more accessible and financially predictable.

“With ‘The Upgrade You Deserve’ campaign, we are proving that upgrading to a zero-mileage Suzuki is not only attainable but financially smarter,” Tegule said.

He added that the company would absorb key operational costs such as fuel, insurance, and servicing during the first year to ease the burden on customers.

To widen accessibility, CFAO Mobility Uganda said buyers would be able to choose from flexible payment options, including outright purchase, asset financing through partner banks, and trade-in arrangements where customers can exchange existing vehicles as part payment.

The promotion applies across several Suzuki models, including the Suzuki Fronx, Suzuki S-Presso, Suzuki XL6, Suzuki Grand Vitara Hybrid, Suzuki Ertiga, Suzuki Super Carry, Suzuki Jimny 5-Door and the newly launched Suzuki ACROSS Hybrid.
