Residents of Bongole Zone in Ndejje, Wakiso District are reeling from a horrifying incident of attempted murder that left four children critically injured.

According to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy Public Relations Officer for Kampala Metropolitan Police, an unidentified assailant armed with a panga barged into the residence of Ayebare Anita, 25 on April 29, 2024, where she was reportedly having breakfast with her four children – Atuhaire Lucia, 2, Ampaire Maria Zoe, 5, Musiime Blair, 7, and Ankunda Godius, 14.

The assailant allegedly threatened violence and demanded a sum of five million shillings from Ms Anita. When she refused, the perpetrator reportedly turned his aggression towards the children, inflicting injuries upon them.
