VP Jessica Alupo Flies To Seoul For Korea-Africa Summit

Vice President Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo arrived in Seoul, South Korea on Sunday, June 2, 2024, to represent President Yoweri Museveni at the first-ever Korea-Africa Summit. The summit, scheduled for June 4 to 5, 2024, is themed “The Future We Make Together: Shared Growth, Sustainability, and Solidarity” and aims to foster a mutually beneficial, sustainable, and strategic long-term partnership between South Korea and Africa.

The summit, which will be held in Ilsan and Seoul, will bring together delegations from African countries and related international organizations, key figures from Korean and international business, academia, civil society groups, and the press.

In Seoul,Alupo arrived at Seoul Korea and was warmly welcomed from Incheon international airport by Ambassador Choi Jaichel and Ambassador Tophace Kahawa.

She participated in the Sunday praise and worship at Shinshengei church in Seoul Korea.
