Kampala, Uganda – September 2026: Kabojja International School has opened the KIS Health Club while also hosting an International Education and Career Fair, bringing together opportunities focused on student wellbeing, career development and global education.

The KIS Health Club was officially opened on Saturday, 19 September 2026, providing the school community with a modern facility designed to promote health, fitness and wellbeing.

The facility features a swimming pool, gym, steam and sauna rooms, squash courts, a dance and yoga studio, spinning room, salon and café. The opening also featured facility tours, demonstrations and health-related activities.

The school also partnered with Nuviva Diagnostics to provide health screening services, including blood pressure monitoring, BMI checks, random blood sugar testing and physical doctor consultations.

Alongside the opening of the KIS Health Club, Kabojja International School hosted an International Education and Career Fair, giving students an opportunity to interact directly with representatives from more than 30 universities from the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, the United States and Europe.

The career fair exposed learners to different university programmes, admission requirements, scholarships and opportunities to pursue higher education internationally.

One of the highlights of the fair was the celebration of a Kabojja International School student from the 2025/2026 May/June cohort who secured a 100% academic scholarship to the University of Sydney.

The two initiatives brought together two important aspects of student development — wellbeing and future career opportunities — giving learners access to platforms that support both their personal and academic growth.

Through the opening of the KIS Health Club and the International Education and Career Fair, Kabojja International School continues to provide learners with opportunities to develop beyond the classroom while preparing them for future academic, professional and personal success.
