Another Notorious Bodaboda Thief Arrested In Wakiso

The Uganda Police Force together with sister security operatives have arrested one suspect in connection to rampant theft of Boda Bodas around the metropolitan area.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesman Patrick Onyango, Bujunju Henry a resident of Nansana Municipality in Wakiso District stole the motorcycle belonging to Stephen Ssembalirwa from Nabbingo.
“Ssembalirwa notified Police and a search was immediately launched. Police using CCTV cameras and tracking system traced for the suspect and he was found when he had already parked the motorcycle in a garage in Kawala, Rubaga Division,” said Onyango

Bujunju has confessed that he has been stealing motorcycles and selling them in Masaka Nyendo.

He is detained at Nabbingo Police Station on charges of stealing a motorcycle.

“Our detectives are now looking for the buyers of these stolen motorcycles.”

“They will also be arrested and prosecuted..” Onyango added
