Big-hearted Mogul Sudhir Ruparelia Donates Sh20m, Ambulance To Nsambya & Nsangi Rotary Clubs

Uganda’s richest man, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia through his giving arm ‘The Ruparelia Foundation’ on Sunday, July 10th donated Shs10 million and a new ambulance worth millions to the Rotary Club of Nsangi towards the construction of a hospital.

Sudhir, also the chairman of Ruparelia Group and an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Muyenga Member made the donation during the installation of the Club’s visionary President Kigoye Yusuf on Sunday, July 10th at an event held at Molly’s Place in Nsangi, Wakiso district.

The generous and big-hearted tycoon commended the Rotarians for their charity works aimed at supporting vulnerable Ugandans and pledged to continue the support in all ways he can.

”I thank you for your charity and for working tirelessly to change the Ugandans’ ways of living mostly for the vulnerable. Thank you very much and am supporting your good cause of building the hospital with an ambulance, and Shs10 million,” said Sudhir.

Quality Chemicals Limited boss Emmanuel Katongole also a Rotarian praised Sudhir for his big contributions not only to Rotarians but to the entire country. He recalled the huge financial and food contribution Sudhir offered to Ugandans during Covid-19 lockdowns that saved many who would perish in their houses due to hunger.

”In a special way, I want to thank our guest of honor Sudhir for being a parent to many Ugandans, as Rotarians we can’t thank you enough for the huge support you have extended to millions of needy Ugandans. Members here you remember the big contribution Sudhir made during Covid-19 lockdown days, you’re a special Ugandan Doctor, thank you so much.”

About Ruparelia Foundation

The Ruparelia Foundation was founded in 2012 by Dr. Sudhir & Mrs. Jyotsna Ruparelia and runs its programs under the catchphrase theme: “Enriching Lives Together”.

For the past ten years, the Foundation has worked together with several stakeholders to champion positive change in different communities across the country to improve livelihoods in Uganda.

To date, more than 700 charitable causes have been funded by the charity.
