Big Hearted Victoria University Gives Free Laptops To Students On Admission

As part of its tradition, Uganda’s leading transformation education hub – Victoria University has announced that it will be giving out laptops to new students joining the university in a move to ease learning in today’s fast-changing digital environment.

VU as it is popularly known prides itself as the only higher institution of learning that offers its students the opportunity to study anywhere, anytime, access to free textbooks, and graduate with work experience, thus a laptop comes in handy to enable students to achieve the above.

Announcing the news via its socials, Victoria University revealed that new students joining the upcoming September Intake will get the chance to subscribe to its new Laptop loan scheme to enable them acquire the laptops with no hassle.

In this new loan scheme, students who cannot afford a one-off pay to purchase themselves laptops will be accorded the chance to own ones given by the university, paying off the stated fee in affordable installments over a specified period of time.
