Breaking: UPDF, Prisons In Panic-mode As Over 60 Prisoners Escape From Moroto Prison With Guns

Over 60 inmates at Moroto Regional Prison have allegedly escaped from custody with over 36 guns. The inmates are exchanging fire with the security personnel.

According to reports coming in, the prisoners escaped to the mountains and they are being searched with the help of a helicopter.

Its also reported that the Local Defense Unit (LDU) commander, Captain Bellik has been shot dead.

The prisoners are said to have broken into the prison’s armory and stole guns which they allegedly used to escape. The escapees are said to be contacts of the Prison’s Covid-19 cases.
