Police at Katwe have charged socialite and philanthropist Kirumira Brian, popularly known as Bryan White, alongside four others, with human sacrifice and manslaughter following the death of a 25-year-old woman.

According to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Public Relations Officer for Kampala Metropolitan Police, the suspects were on Wednesday, November 13, 2025, arraigned before the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Makindye.

The four suspects produced in court include Nalunga Daisy, Abaho Daphine, Nakato Naava, and Nambalirwa Joyce.

The charges stem from ongoing investigations into the death of Nalubwama Caroline, who reportedly suffered severe burn injuries at the home of Bryan White in Munyonyo, Makindye Division. Nalubwama was rushed to Kiruddu Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Police say that a fifth suspect, Bryan White, remains under police guard as he continues to receive treatment for injuries he allegedly sustained around the same time. Although he was not physically present in court, charges have also been sanctioned against him, bringing the total number of accused persons to five.

Authorities have not yet provided full details regarding the events that led to the fatal injuries, but detectives continue to piece together witness statements, forensic evidence, and medical reports.

“Investigations into the matter are ongoing,” ASP Owoyesigyire noted, adding that more information will be shared with the public as the case progresses.

The suspects are expected to return to court as inquiries continue into one of the year’s most shocking criminal cases.
