The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, today held a meeting with His Excellency Matthias Schauer, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Uganda.

The meeting serves as a reaffirmation of the longstanding bilateral relations between the Republic of Uganda and the Federal Republic of Germany.

The discussions, held at the Special Forces Command headquarters, centered on a wide range of areas of mutual interest and issues related to the continued growth of the Uganda-Germany partnership. Both officials engaged in forward-looking dialogue on enhancing cooperation across several sectors, underscoring a shared vision for a deeper and more collaborative relationship.
