Court Told Bryan White Remains Under Medical Care at Luzira

The Makindye Chief Magistrates Court has been informed that Bryan Kirumira, widely known as Bryan White, is still receiving medical attention at the Luzira Prison medical unit, close to two months after he was taken into custody.

Prosecutors told court that White was unable to attend the latest session, which had been scheduled to review the progress of investigations involving him and four other suspects.

The State explained that he will only be produced in court once doctors certify that his health has improved.Multiple Charges Over Munyonyo DeathWhite, a well-known Kampala socialite, is facing several grave charges linked to the death of Carol Nalubwama (25), which allegedly occurred at his home in Kyamula Zone, Munyonyo.

The charges include human sacrifice, manslaughter, conspiracy to commit a felony, reckless and negligent conduct, unlawful possession of marijuana, and providing false information to police.

The prosecution alleges that Nalubwama suffered serious burn injuries during an incident investigators believe involved a ritual ceremony allegedly carried out by White together with his co-accused in October 2025.

The four co-accused Daisy Nalunga, White’s wife, along with Daphine Abaho, Naava Nakato, and Joyce Irene Nambalirwa were presented before court and remanded until March 17, 2026, pending the completion of investigations.

Defence attempts to seek bail were turned down after the magistrate ruled that the court lacked the authority to entertain such applications.

The accused were instead advised to pursue bail before the High Court.Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
