Covid Crisis: KISU Slashes Tuition Fees By 50% To Reduce Strain On Parents

Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) has Slashed has on Wednesday August 26 slashed tuition fees by a half for both joining and continuing Ugandan students, in a gesture by management to enable parents cope with the economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The school management now has announced the special Covid-19 discount which will be rolled out online. It means educators at KISU will be engaging with learners via digital spaces, and still retain that personal care for each student, as is the case during normal school times.

“Kisu is offering special bursaries during this Covid-19 period. The bursaries are being offered to Ugandan nationals and residents,” Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, under whose conglomerate KISU falls said.

The Wednesday announcement comes at a time the country is gripped in fear of the spread of Covid-19 pandemic yet, children are locked up at home without engagements with their teachers. The lockdown has stressed up parents and their children, with no end of Covid-19 pandemic in sight.
