Gen.Muntu, EU Envoys Discuss 2021 General Elections Challenges

The leadership of Alliance for National Transformation party (ANT) has held a special meeting with a delegation from European Union.

While addressing the press at the party headquarters in Kampala today, Gen.Mugisha Muntu said that in the meeting , ANT and EU envoys discussed issues concerning the current political situation, the upcoming general elections and matters of regional security, stability and the economy.

The leadership also briefed the delegation on the ANT plans for a better Uganda.

European Union delegation led by Ambassador Attilio Pacifici is visiting political parties in the country that are going to take part in the forthcoming general elections.

Gen.Muntu also criticized the Electoral Commission for failing to punish political parties and political figures who are continuing to violate the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures.

Gen. Mugisha Muntu the party presidential flag bearer says the commission is keeping silent while the ruling party politicians are defying the guidelines but when it comes to the opposition politicians it acts so fast.
