Gen Museveni Names Mbadi New CDF, Keinerugaba, Elwelu, Kyanda Given New Assignments

President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni who doubles as the commander in chief of the armed forces has appointed Gen Wilson Mbusa Mbadi as Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) to replace Gen David Muhoozi who was recently appointed the state Minister of Internal Affairs.

In the same spirit, we’ve learnt that Gen Museveni has Promoted Gen, Peter Elweru and appointed him to deputise Mbadi as DCDF.

President Museveni also appointed Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to Command the Land Force.

Gen Leopard Kyanda has been appointed Joint Chief Of Staff as Gen Joseph  Musanyufu is sent to civil SVC (waiting for PS).
