Queen Grace Karen Mutoni has been crowned Miss Tourism Metro 2026/2027 after emerging the winner among contestants who competed for the regional title.

Mutoni was crowned on July 20, 2026, during a colourful ceremony held at Explorers Hub Hotel in Kololo, Kampala.

Nakamya Susie was named the second runner-up, while Nosha Maluk emerged as the first runner-up.

The Miss Tourism Uganda pageant will cover 12 regions across the country, including West Nile, Busoga, Buganda, Teso, and Ankole, among others, with the aim of showcasing Uganda’s diverse cultures, traditions, and communities on a national platform.

Following her victory, Mutoni will join other regional queens as they prepare for the national finale scheduled for September 4, 2026, at Kampala Serena Hotel. The finale will be held under the theme “AI, Tourism and Culture.”

The reigning Miss Tourism Uganda, Cindy Kezia Nachap, encouraged more young women to participate in the competition, saying the platform provides an opportunity to promote Uganda’s culture, tourism, and heritage.
