Heartless Kigezi Mother Cuts Off Son’s Private Parts,Arrested

Police in Rubanda District, Kigezi region have arrested a 20 year old woman who is alleged to have cut the penis of her 7 months old baby severing it off.

Elly Maate , the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman told journalists today June 27th 2019, that Kyomuhendo Patience a resident of Kiruruma cell, Kacerere parish in Bufundi sub county in Rubanda District cut the penis of her son Ahereza Ivan.

It is reported that Kyomuhendo severed her son’s private parts in protest over what she termed as rejection because her husband left her in the village to work as a casual labourer in Kampala and has not returned after many years . It’s also said that she wanted to commit suicide .

However after severing her son , her mother in law Esther Mparushimana learnt about it and reported the matter to the Police who arrested the suspect.

The Child has been referred to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital where he is reported to be recovering and a case of causing grievous harm has been registered at Rubanda Police Station under reference number SD 19/27/06/2019 to help in further investigation.cckigezimagine
