Heartless: Security Guard Gunned Down After Raping Business Woman

Police in Old Kampala have shot and killed a security guard as he resisted arrest and attempted to disarm police officers after raping a woman.

Patrick Onyango, Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson revealed that the suspect one Ali Ambayo a guard became horny and raped a business woman on Wednesday night in Lugala, Rubaga Division, Kampala Capital City.
The rape victim, narrated to the police her ordeal. She identified the suspect clearly.
“The incident happened near a location where there are CCTV cameras. The detectives retrieved the footage and analysed it.
Detectives identified the suspect Ali Mbayo using the CCTV footage”he said.
The suspect was a private security guard at a garage near Kosovo junction.
On the wee hours of Thursday morning,police officers went to arrest the suspect.
However, he resisted arrest and attempted to disarm a police officer.
The officers discharged warning shots, but the suspect went ahead and attempted to grab a gun from one of the officers.
The officer’s colleague fired bullets that killed the suspect.
The scene has been visited by a team of detectives.
The body has been taken to the city mortuary at Mulago for a postmortem.
The deceased Ambayo has been a resident of Lugala.
Officer, who shot has been arrested and detained at Old Kampala Police
Station as investigations continue.
