IGP Ochola Orders CID To Grill MP Nsubuga Over Death Threats

The Inspector General of Police Martin Ochola has ordered Director to CID AIGP Grace Akullo to open up an investigation on member of parliament for Kasanda south MP Simeo Nsubuga who was recorded threatening a one Sonko.

While addressing the press at Media center, Police spokesperson Fred Enanga revealed that police opened a general inquiry file ‘GEF’ at CID headquarters to investigate the death threats between Hon.Nsubuga and Nsoko recorded in the audio which has gone viral.

“CID has already opened a file to verify whether the person behind the audio threatening another political opponent only identified as Sonko on matters regarding politics are about life and death is Mr Nsubuga “he said.

Recently,MP Simeo Nsubuga dumped ruling party National Resistance Movement and declared that he was standing as an Independent candidate in the forthcoming general elections after losing party elections to one Micheal Muhumuza.

Hon Nsubuga team is busy battling with Muhumuza’s agents and supporters .

CP Enanga warned that any person who will misuse internet will be charged with Cyber crime cases.
