Katikkiro Mayiga Tours Buvuma Development Projects, Urges Productivity

Buvuma , Uganda: The Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, has embarked on a tour of development initiatives in Buvuma District, aimed at assessing community progress and encouraging productivity among the Kabaka’s subjects.

His visit began at Kasaali B landing site in Ssaabagabo Nairambi Sub-county, where he was warmly received by local fishermen. They demonstrated various fishing techniques used on Lake Victoria, showcasing how both large and small fish are caught. The Katikkiro engaged in discussions with the fishermen, listening to their experiences and challenges in sustaining livelihoods through fishing.
