In recent months, President Museveni, during his various public addresses, openly praised and congratulated the Internal Security Organisation for successfully conducting various intelligence-led operations that exposed corruption practices in government and operations against the Allied Democratic Forces.

This is the second promotion and appointment being conducted in the Army by President Museveni this January.

Last week, President Museveni appointed Colonel Allan Matsiko as Commander of the 303 Brigade; Colonel JB. Asinguza was also appointed as Commander 1 SFG; Lieutenant Colonel Bagonza was promoted to Colonel and appointed Commander 2 SFG; and Colonel Seruyange was appointed a Director under the SFC, among others.(Nexus media)
