Maestro Studios, the new kid on Uganda’s entertainment circuit, is set to produce Sheebah Karungi’s forthcoming concert on 9th December at the Serena Hotel.

Maestro studios and their flagship band D#Maestroz first made a name for themselves with an exceptional showcase at the recently Concluded B2C concert that was held at Freedom City.

As a relatively new player on the scene, Sheebah Karungi’s choice and decision to work with the production house has taken the entertainment world by surprise.

Speaking at her press conference held on 11th November at the La Terraza bar, Sheebah mentioned how she had keenly observed Maestro Studios and their band and was more than convinced they were up to the task of producing her maiden concert at the grand Serena Hotel Conference Centre.

“I have a point to prove to myself, and as an artist I have a level of growth and maturity, thus I needed to try out something new and work with the best names in the industry, thus Maestro Studios was a perfect choice for me…”

Donald Wasake, of Maestro Studios, said he was humbled by the partnership and the trust Sheebah has put in Maestro Studios.

He said that; “Working with Uganda’s undisputed queen on stage is not only an honour, but also a testament of what Maestro Studios has to offer not only at this concert but also for the next period of our involvement in Uganda’s entertainment industry.”

“We seek to do something different and have the capabilities to pull this off with our sensational band D#Maestroz, which will perform alongside her, the rehearsal space for the detailed choreography you will see, but most importantly, the quality equipment that will be used for the production,” he added.

Maestro Studios most recently made a mark in the industry with their production of Desire Luzinda’s first post-secular music career with the performance of her single “I overcome”.

Other previous sessions recorded were for band legends Jacinta, Kenneth Mugabi, Neliah Kansiime of Black Market Records and American praise and worship powerhouse Jason D. Edmond, among others.

Maestro Studios will also be in charge of Levixone’s Mbeera the Genesis Concert to be held at Kololo Airstrip on 26th November.
