In addition to producing the most reliable sanitary pads that provide all-round protection to users across the world, Always is also popular for its role in improving menstrual care to drive education excellence among girls, which is reflected in its goal to ensure no girl misses class due to periods.

In Uganda, so many girls have missed school during their periods because of stigma among their peers and communities, lack of reliable sanitary pads that can keep them comfortably focused at school or sometimes due to financial hardships.
Always has responded to this gap with a program called ‘Solooza Always’, which is purposed to drive positive behaviour-change around menstrual care in schools.

The Solooza Always program is a full-term campaign, where users of Always pads collect the empty packs to win UGX 1,000,000 worth of school fees in a grand draw, which will take place on 5th December, 2025 on national television – 30 winners shall be determined through the raffle.

Here below is how to participate in the Solooza Always 2025 grand draw to win school fees;

-Collect 10 Always empty packs, seal them in an envelope and write your dedicated Solooza Registration Phone Number on it.
-Deposit the envelope to any Solooza Always deposit point at the locations provided on the following website www.soloozaalways.com.

Go to the website mentioned above and fill out the participation form to confirm your deposit.
Increase your chances of winning by depositing as many envelopes as possible throughout the term, through the above process.

The impact of the Solooza Always program to users of Always pads in the previous editions has been great, which has inspired the need to amplify the campaign this time so that more can benefit.

The results speak for themselves, where students’ lives have been changed by the initiative in the past.
For instance, Wayezu Elizabeth from Rubaga Girls Secondary School, who won in both 2022 and 2023, thanks to the support she got from her friends and senior woman teacher to help her collect.
Kyomugisha Swaburah from Shuhadae Islamic Secondary School in Mbarara, 2023 top female student at her school, shared how her reward eased the financial burden on her parents:

“This achievement means a lot to me, because I know that my parents shall be free from paying school fees for a full year”, said Kyomugisha Swaburah.

In the build-up to the grand draw, Solooza Always agents shall visit selected schools to conduct menstrual talks with students, aimed at wiping out the stigma that exists in schools.

Boys are invited to the sessions, as they are also open to participate in the empty-pack collection exercise to win one million shillings. Daily updates on participation shall be available on the Solooza Always social media pages, whereas monthly newsletters shall be sent to school noticeboards and the Solooza Always website.
